Coming from the fintech and anti-money laundering (AML) industry, we saw how little innovation there was to such a serious problem, the processes that financial companies are required to follow in order to remain compliant with AML regulation were slow and outdated. Compliance officers, the people on the front line keeping our financial systems safe and free from criminal activities relied on spreadsheets and legacy systems. Putting compliance officers one step behind with time consuming processes and inaccurate results. From that insight the first line of code for Pliance was written in 2018.
